How Your Body Uses Less Calories

We all know what calories are, but why do they matter?🤔 

Generally speaking, this is a representation of how your body utilizes calories you consume from your food. 

Most of your calories go to BMR, or basal metabolic rate. This is basically the bare minimum your body needs to function properly.

Surprisingly, only 20-30% is utilized for exercise or other physical activity. This is so important to note because this is reason why you can’t achieve optimal results with exercise alone. 

With only 20-30% of your calories being burned in exercise, it’s easy to see why you can’t eat whatever you want, exercise, and still lose weight. 

Your caloric goal should be predicated upon your body, lifestyle, and physique/athletic goals.🔥
