Who says you can’t indulge your sweet tooth while hitting your macros? These Protein Donut Holes are the ultimate guilt-free treat! Whether you’re a busy vegan athlete or just looking for a healthier dessert option, these are here to satisfy.

    Donut Holes Recipe

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup vital wheat gluten 
    • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk 
    • 20g Brown Sugar Almond Budder code msmeatless https://pridefoods.org/products/pride-budder?variant=40461848444962
    • 50g Vedge Vanilla Protein code msmeatless https://www.vedgenutrition.com/
    • 55g unsweetened applesauce
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • Pinch of pink salt
    • Stevia (to taste)
    • Optional: Sprinkles 

    Method

    1. In a small bowl, mix all dry ingredients until well combined.
    2. Add the applesauce, almond butter, vanilla, and milk to the dry ingredients.
    3. Mix until you have a dough. If it is too dry, add 1-2 tbsp of almond milk. 
    4. Now roll 11 balls of dough into spheres with your hands. Roll them in sprinkles for extra sweetness!
    5.  Place them onto a baking pan or plate, and air fry at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes. They should be slightly firm. 
    6. Enjoy!!
